San Diego is a true gem of a city out in California! It’s laid back lifestyle, beautiful beaches, and fun attractions make it a popular spot for tourists! One of the most popular tourist spots when visiting San Diego is Balboa Park. Balboa Park is named after a Spanish explorer so a lot of Spanish influence can be found throughout the park. Balboa Park is considered a national historic landmark. The grounds are beautiful and rich with history, art, and fun!
There are many different buildings and things to do once you start walking the grounds of Balboa Park. However, out of everything I saw, nothing came close to how amazing the Spanish Village Art Center was! This little village is so colorful, eccentric, and unique. I could have gotten lost and hung out in this little village all day long popping my head in and out of all the unique little shops and artists studios that scatter the rainbow grounds.
From painting to ceramics, to jewelry making, photography, and more this little village is dedicated to all media related to art and is the home to many artists studios. You can walk the streets and see many artists in the making of their craft, as well as buy and support their incredible art!
They host special events, teach art classes, and do so much for the art community! If you find yourself in San Diego, do not miss the chance to stroll along these enchanting streets in Balboa Park, which is the Spanish Village Art Center.
