Seattle is filled to the brim with incredible museums and art to entertain you all through out the day! Here is a brief overview on some of the funky ones I got to go to that will go down as some of my most favorite museum memories yet!

Seattle Art Museum: Right in the heart of the city, the building is a piece of art itself and catches you eye as you walk the busy downtown streets! With a remarkable statue out front of a moving man, just one look from the outside makes you want to go in and get lost in the art! Wander through fabulous galleries, exhibits, and collections of modern and contemporary art from all over the world!

Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP): The Museum of pop culture! Easily my favorite museum I have been to by far! EVER! The most entertaining, interactive, and hands on museum out there! I was never expecting to walk in to such fun, I didn’t want to leave!  This is a dream for any pop culture lover out there. Their exhibits range from honoring the life of music legends like Jimi Hendrix & Kurt Cobain, to music rooms that allow you to jam out on any instrument your heart has ever desired to try to play. They highlight horror, fantasy, & sci-fi classics! Youll be sure to be laughing your whole way through this museum!

Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum: And this one wins for the most BEAUTIFUL museum I have ever been in. Each room is a maze of vibrant hand blown glass that results in some of the most lively, colorful sculptures and artistic creations I have seen glass be made into.  Dale Chihuly is the master artist behind the glass and has a fascinating story to go along with his fascinating art. After enrolling in one of the first glass courses offered in the US in the late 60’s, he went to work in a glass factory in Venice where his career and passion soared to the top. Tragically, Chihuly got in a bad accident in the 70’s leaving him blind in his left eye. He has not blown a single piece of glass since 1979, due to the loss of his eyesight but has an incredible team of glassblowers to carry out all his artistic visions and hopes. Do not miss this truly enchanting walk through the most beautiful glass you will ever see in your time!

PRO TIP: Be sure to check their website out before going for some of their special events! The museum holds awesome weekly events such as yoga Under Glass, salsa in the greenhouse, & workshops of all artistic forms!

There are TONS of other amazing museums around Seattle that I did not mention, however these three were the real winners in my book.

Have you been to any other museums in Seattle that I did not mention? Have you been to any of these three? What did you think?

Leave me a comment below, I would love to hear about your museum experiences!

Thank YOU all for reading

Wishing you a day and life full of adventure and total bliss!

Happy Adventuring!
